A piece of Buffalo’s history was on full display for HobNob – the Buffalo Niagara Partnership’s biggest business party of the year. A sold-out crowd of over 400 people packed two-floors of the former Buffalo Psychiatric Facility now transformed into an Urban Resort and Conference Center dubbed Hotel Henry. Partnership members from across Western New York and Southern Ontario joined in on the party rejuvenating old and establishing new business connections. HobNob was also the first Partnership event since our strategic membership agreement with the Hamilton Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Niagara Chamber of Commerce. Wednesday’s event allowed our new associate members an opportunity to interact with current Partnership members.

Roughly 100 Partnership members listened to Dr. Don Levy reveal the results of the Business Leaders survey conducted by the Siena College Research Institute. They later heard from Buford Sears, KeyBank President WNY Market and Art Wingerter, President of Univera Healthcare.

For the past 25 years, the Buffalo Niagara Partnership has honored the valuable contributions made by area individuals to advance the status of women in the Buffalo Niagara region.
The ATHENA Leadership Award®, and the ATHENA Young Professional Leadership Award® are given to individuals who have achieved professional success, contribute time and energy to making the region a better place, and actively assist others – particularly women – in reaching their potential.
