MESSAGE FROM THE CHAIRMAN AND PRESIDENT & CEO
We began this year searching the horizon of what the “new normal” will look like as we move past the pandemic. Most certainly, this time presents tremendous opportunities and also holds significant challenges.
Our Board of Directors and team continue to focus on driving economic opportunity for our region and all its residents. At this critical time, we’ve doubled down on employer-led talent development with an equity lens supported by our DEI work. The 5-14 massacre more than revealed how racism and hate thrives in the shadow of ignorance. That event, and its aftermath, has placed an even greater sense of urgency on the collective work to break the systems of racism and the barriers to full economic opportunity for all.
We’ve continued our important advocacy efforts and initiatives that advance the region. All of our work is driven by our employer members but is executed in collaboration with our partners in government, education, and other community stakeholders. Our deepest thanks for your continued support and partnership.
