Employing DEI in WNY

Join us at the 7th Annual DEI Symposium for the results of the 2024 Employing DEI in WNY Assessment!

Measure Progress, Shape the Future

The Buffalo Niagara Partnership is committed to helping WNY employers build more diverse and inclusive workplace cultures via programs, services, and the sharing of best practices.

Our Employing DEI in WNY Assessment is a key initiative to monitor and enhance DEI practices across the Buffalo Niagara region. This biennial assessment, first launched in 2020, serves as a tool for businesses and community leaders to understand the shifts and trends in diversity, equity and inclusion in the workplace. Each report not only benchmarks where we are but also inspires where we need to go, providing actionable insights for organizations committed to making a difference.

The DEI Assessment has allowed us to:

  • Track Historical Changes: Evaluate local advancements in DEI practices since 2020, understanding how far local businesses have progressed.
  • Identify Current Practices: Obtain a comprehensive snapshot of how DEI is currently embraced across the region.
  • Provide Actionable Insights: Equip businesses with practical strategies to advance their DEI initiatives, tailored to meet regional needs.

Stay tuned for the upcoming 2024 edition of the Employing DEI in WNY Assessment, to be unveiled live at our DEI Symposium on June 13th.
