Member Growth Manager

About Buffalo Niagara Partnership: The Buffalo Niagara Partnership is Western New York’s regional chamber of commerce dedicated to strengthening the Buffalo Niagara economy by empowering, connecting, and mobilizing the region’s employers.

Role Purpose:

Drive new member acquisition across membership tiers by cultivating leads, managing the full sales funnel, and guiding prospects through the decision-making process. This role focuses exclusively on new member growth, with an emphasis on relationship-driven sales and value-based conversations. Ideal for candidates with a background in financial services or banking who have demonstrated success in consultative sales and business development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively source, qualify, and convert leads into new members.
  • Utilize sales tools like LinkedIn Navigator and trained AI to support sales efforts.
  • Conduct discovery calls, presentations, and consultations with prospective members.
  • Build and manage a consistent sales pipeline via CRM and outreach tools.
  • Guide prospects through tier options and recommend the best fit based on their goals.
  • Collaborate with internals teams on lead generation efforts.
  • Provide input to improve member onboarding and conversion workflows.
  • Maintain detailed prospect records and status updates in CRM.
  • Attend and support BNP and local events or outreach initiatives that drive new member growth.

Ideal Background:

  • Experience in financial services, banking, or other consultative B2B sales environments is highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to understand client goals, build trust, and deliver appropriate business solutions.
  • Familiarity with financial analysis, local business trends, or industry insights is a plus.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in business development, relationship sales, or B2B service roles.
  • Experience working with or selling to small and mid-sized businesses is preferred.
  • Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Comfortable navigating CRM tools and managing a sales pipeline.
  • Highly motivated by achieving revenue and membership growth goals.

Success Metrics (KPIs):

  • Number of new members acquired (monthly/quarterly/annual goals)
  • Tier migration/conversion rate
  • Revenue generated from new member sales
  • Lead-to-member conversion ratio
  • CRM pipeline health and activity tracking

Compensation & Benefits:

· Salary: $50,000- $55,000 per year + bonuses
