D&I Virtual Learning Series

In order to build a foundation of inclusivity, you must have knowledge and awareness of cultural humility. 

Cultural humility is a practice of self-reflection. Your understanding of other cultural identities creates improved relationships and builds an openness to others in a way that improves outcomes, eliminates disparities, and helps eliminate implicit biases that lie within. In this session, you’ll learn how the importance of respect for people's culture and background is the foundation for belonging and will allow you to become a true ally in D&I work.

A culture that values diversity and inclusion cannot be developed by periodic meetings or mandatory workshops. Your organization must constantly cultivate, support, and reinforce these values. Rather than just raising awareness as many D&I programs do, your organization should commit to meaningful conversations that can leverage employees’ unique experiences, perspectives, and viewpoints for the collective benefit of all. In this session, you’ll learn the anatomy of critical conversations, how to have and continue them, and how to build strong environments where employees can feel seen, heard, and valued.

You may already be measuring Diversity by quantifying how much representation there is of different groups in your organization. Likewise, you maybe measuring Equity by tracking how fairly you are paying people.

Yet, most organizations are still searching for an effective way to measure Inclusion.

Without a reliable way to measure cultural inclusion, in the moment and over time, you cannot gauge if your organization is getting better or worse, nor which programs and actions lead to greater levels of Inclusion for employees.

Most of us are looking for ways to gauge Inclusion factors such as these:

• Are we improving team environments, so our employees feel heard, seen, and valued?
• Do we know what specific improvements our leaders need to take to create more inclusion on their teams?
• Are we aware of disparate inclusion experiences across different employee populations?

Join us for this session where we will present a roadmap for success with measuring cultural inclusion in your organization. We will arm you with best approaches for assessing employees’ feelings of being seen, heard, and valued in your organization
