Executive Exchange Facilitators

Executive Exchange and Leader Exchange programs are peer-to-peer, professional development programs, exclusively for Buffalo Niagara Partnership members.  These programs are professionally facilitated by some of the region’s most successful business professionals and customized to meet the individual needs of the members in each group.

Michael Cardus - Team building & leadership expert

Michael Cardus has a focused expertise on leadership, organizational development and team building, working with a variety of businesses, teams and individuals. Michael is frequently asked to create pragmatic solutions to address the development of high performance teams, retention of talent, innovation of product and profit streams, interpersonal and intergroup conflict, coaching of leaders, and development of systems to drive positive behaviors. Working primarily with teams and management within these organizations, his role has been to coach, counsel, facilitate and conduct focused group work.

Jessica Schimert
Jessica J. Schimert, Business consultant, trainer & coach - Leader Exchange Faciltator

Jessica J. Schimert, MBA, MS is a skilled business trainer, facilitator, coach and speaker. Jessica currently is a business consultant for Performance Management Partners. She creates interactive workshops for organizations, to help enhance employee’s emotional intelligence and “people” skills. Jessica has worked with a wide variety of organizations. She has also served as adjunct faculty member at Canisius College for the past seven years. She moderated the advisory group coaching programs at the Women’s Business Center and served as a trainer for the Center for Professional Development.

Gerry Murak - Owner, CEO & Chairman, SoPark Corp.

Gerry Murak, MS, MBA founded the consulting firm, Murak & Associates LLC in 1991. Prior to that he turned around the performance within two different locations of a Fortune 500 corporation, as well as a Top 100 Western New York Corporation. He is also the sole owner, CEO & Chairman of the Board of Western New York’s largest contract electronics manufacturing service provider, SoPark Corporation. Most recently, he has established Murak Properties, LLC.

Joan Graci - Owner & President, APA Solutions

Joan Graci is the owner and president of APA Solutions, a leading human resources firm in Buffalo, New York. In 2005 she founded Career Reform, a career coaching company designed to change the mindset and career approach of job seekers and employees. She is author of “No More Bad Advice,” a book chronicling her experiences in the world of Human Resources and offering alternative approaches to the traditional job seeking mentality.
