BUFFALO–The Buffalo Niagara Partnership this week convened business leaders for three days in Albany to voice their opinions on Governor Cuomo’s 2014-15 Executive Budget. Regional priorities were: Brownfield Cleanup program extension, Scaffold Law reform, broad-based tax reform and mandate relief to reduce the tax burden for NYS employers and taxpayers. The three days included Buffalo Niagara Night in Albany and subsequent Lobby Day, hosted by the Partnership. Partnership members also participated in NFIB’s Small Business Day.
ALBANY, NY – Small business owners and business leaders from across the state assembled in Albany today to participate in Small Business Day. Event organizers have focused the day’s programming on Entrepalooza ‘13’s central theme of Leadership. More than 300 entrepreneurs and business leaders from across the Buffalo Niagara region are expected to attend the ninth annual full day program.

The awards are presented by the regional office of the Small Business Administration.

The event is designed for budding entrepreneurs who are thinking about starting a business, as well as current business owners who are interested in growing their business and anyone interested in learning more about supporting our local economy. BN360 is partnering with UB’s Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership for this event.
(BUFFALO, NY) – On May 6th at the SBA Small Business Week Awards Luncheon held downtown, the Buffalo Niagara Partnership presented local healthcare benefits company Liazon with the Small Business of the Year award. Since 1963, the President has proclaimed a National Small Business Week to recognize the contributions of small businesses to the economic well-being of the country. The local awards ceremony honored the area’s top small business owners and advocates of the year for 2009.
