About being an ATHENA Award® Finalist

“I am very proud to shine a light on the different ways in which women leaders contribute to the community and lift up others.  My parents came to the US to provide a better life and opportunities for their five daughters.  The Athena Award represents the possibilities that women have to lead and to contribute to the community.”
