Western New York Chamber Alliance to Host Historic Trip to China this Fall
Trip is open to the public
BUFFALO, NY – The Buffalo Niagara Partnership and the Western New York Chamber Alliance are once again partnering with CITSLINC International to offer a 9 day tour of China from September 26 – October 4, 2010. More than 600 Western New Yorkers have traveled to China as part of this excursion since 2007.
The 9-day tour includes air fare from JFK, 4 and 5 star hotels, three meals each day, deluxe bus tours, English speaking tour guides and visits to Beijing, Suzhou, Hangzhou and Shanghai. The total cost of the trip is $1,999 per person (based on double occupancy).
According to Fred Bristol, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the Buffalo Niagara Partnership, the trip features unique opportunities to see how business is done in China, networking with other Western New York businesses, tours led by experienced and knowledgeable guides, and stops at Tian An Men Square, Temple of Heaven, and the Great Wall. Shanghai is also the site of the 2010 World Expo, with exhibitions, events and forums based on the Expo theme, “Better City, Better Life.” Shanghai hopes to build a powerful and lasting pilot example of sustainable and harmonious urban living for Expo attendees. For an additional fee, travelers can also explore Xian (Terra Cotta Soldiers) and Guilin (Elephant Trunk Hill). The trip is open to the community.
