Buffalo Niagara Partnership President & CEO, Dottie Gallagher, joins Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives Board of Directors
BUFFALO, NY – The Buffalo Niagara Partnership, the area’s regional chamber of commerce, announces that President & CEO, Dottie Gallagher, has been appointed to a two-year term on the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE) Board of Directors effective immediately.
Established in 1914, the ACCE includes more than 7,500 leaders from 1,300 chambers of commerce, including 93 of the top 100 metro areas in the U.S. The ACCE provides tools, resources, information and connections to help chamber of commerce executives advance the interests of their communities.
“I look forward to serving on the ACCE board and sharing ideas and best practices with other regional chamber of commerce professionals,” said Gallagher. “Working with other chambers of commerce is another way the Partnership will pursue new ideas to make a positive impact on the Buffalo Niagara community.”
Prior to the Partnership, Gallagher served in leadership roles at Visit Buffalo Niagara, The Buffalo News and Erie Community College. She earned an EMBA from the University at Buffalo and a Bachelor of Science degree from Towson University in Maryland. Gallagher is a member of the AAA of Western and Central New York Board of Directors, Invest Buffalo Niagara Board of Directors, and the University at Buffalo School of Management Dean’s Advisory Council.
