Tired of attending that same old networking event? You know the one… where you walk in, think you will meet new connections, and then wind up talking to the same people you already know? And have you ever gotten back to work and realized that the business cards you collected at the event have been gathering dust?
Let’s face it: We’ve all been there. Networking can be uncomfortable, but it’s necessary in today’s business world.
That’s why the Buffalo Niagara Partnership is launching the new Greetings to Meetings series, a structured and innovative program designed to help our members make new connections, deepen current relationships, and experience our business community’s wealth of experience and awareness.
The first event in the series is set for November 15 from 8 to 10 a.m. at the Reikart House. Guests will have an opportunity to hear and learn from a representative of Dale Carnegie of WNY who will briefly speak to and energize the audience while providing tools to help you interact and engage in meaningful business connections. Following the presentation, guests will connect and engage with each other in a fun and efficient game of Business Bingo.
A variety of professionals will be there. You’ll meet directors of sales and business development, project managers, marketing managers, account executives and more in an array of industries from non-profit, hospitality, professional services and development. This is a networking event you won’t want to miss!
