Director Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
I recently joined Buffalo Niagara Partnership as the D&I Director – and what a great time it is to become a part of this amazing organization!
The team was in full planning mode for the 4th Annual D&I Symposium: DE&I at Work, and it was a pleasure to jump in and be a part of the magic in the making.
Let me be the first to tell you we have pulled out all the stops to create an event that is rich in information, insights, and introspection. I am thrilled to provide a sneak peek of what is upcoming:
Our Keynote Speaker is:
The incomparable, Angela Glover Blackwell, Founder in Residence at Policy Link and nationally recognized voice in the movement for equity in America. We are beyond excited to have her join us.
The D&I experts that will be presenting – who I am proud to say reside in the greater Buffalo Niagara region – are:
The inspirational and inspiring Ekua Mends-Aidoo and Sesha Yalamanchili.
Both are major difference makers in helping define actions to create diverse, equitable and inclusive environments. Bravo to them.
Trust me you will not want to miss any of these presentations. In fact, you do not want to miss any part of this remarkable virtual symposium, because there is so much to see and experience.
Finally, we all know real progress can never happen without real work; hence the Symposium theme of DEI at work. When our efforts are filled with intention, commitment, empathy and understanding we will create real change. We are greater together, and the BNP is happy to be there with you every step of the way.
I hope to see you June 8th, you can REGISTER HERE >
