Presentation Highlights (what can the audience expect to learn or take away?):
Diversity in the workplace is a powerful and competitive advantage for your organization. Racial diversity is an important priority and focus of diversity efforts, but our work cannot stop there. Achieving workplace diversity entails having employees with a variety of backgrounds who can provide different perspectives and bring with them unique life experiences that benefit your organization’s decision-making and problem-solving processes. In this session we will explore a range of diversity dimensions such as:
• Culture and language
• Age and generational differences
• Gender and sexual orientation
• Neurodivergence and cognitive functions
• Different experiences, types of intelligence, and values
Join us as we explore how focusing on all forms of diversity leads to inclusive environments where everyone feels welcome and able to fully contribute.
