D&I Resources, Recommendations, & Inspiration
Advice for someone starting, or continuing on their D&I journey:
“Read, listen, ask questions! When we first started our journey in 2019, I realized there are so many resources and opportunities for us all. The only thing you can do wrong in your journey is doing nothing at all. .”
Started at FIFCO USA, previously known as North American Breweries in 2014. My experience within the company spans across all areas of business. Currently, my role is heavily focused in our talent acquisition and D&I strategy, along with development of our employer brand and still managing recruitment. We centralized recruitment and selection into one function about 2 ½ years ago, which is when I had the opportunity to grow into managing the function.
Started off my career in recruiting in 2007 with Key Resource Group, a local, woman-owned staffing agency. Prior to working in the for-profit world, I worked for the YMCA in Buffalo and Rochester in two different Director roles.
