The Buffalo Niagara Partnership continues to push back against any policy that negatively impacts our trading relationship or friendship with Canada.
Partnership President & CEO Dottie Gallagher recently penned an editorial for The Hamilton Spectator emphasizing the importance of maintaining our relationship with Canada and building bridges between Canadian and American businesses.
“We believe strongly that Canada’s relationship with the United States is different and stronger than our relationship with any other country in the world, and the vitality of this relationship is especially important to New Yorkers,” said Gallagher.
The piece solicited positive feedback from both sides of the border, with many expressing their support of the Partnership’s efforts to preserve and strengthen the link between Canada and the Buffalo Niagara region.
Regional leaders have also responded favorably to the editorial, including Phyllis Yaffe, Consul General of Canada in New York and Keanin Loomis, President & CEO of the Hamilton Chamber of Commerce
