Each year, BN360 highlights 12 up-and-coming young professionals who strive for professional growth and development, care for their community, and are passionate about the future of the Buffalo Niagara region.
Partner, Consultant | Strategic Collective Consulting
Katie Campos was born and raised in Buffalo, NY. Katie is a partner at Strategic Collective, a consulting firm focused on change management and organizational impact. She is also a passionate cider maker.
Katie was formerly the founding Executive Director of Teach For America – Buffalo, where she was responsible for launching a partnership with the Buffalo Public Schools. Prior to Teach For America, Katie served in New York Governor Andrew Cuomo’s cabinet as his Assistant Secretary for Education. She worked on the 2008 Obama Campaign and for Democrats for Education Reform before returning home to Buffalo to start Buffalo ReformED, an education reform advocacy organization that works with Buffalo parents. Katie earned her Bachelors of Arts from Washington University in St. Louis with a B.A. in political science, and minors in religion, education and Spanish.

Greatest Professional Win:
Katie’s most rewarding professional experience so far was working with Buffalo Public Schools to create a partnership with Teach For America.

Constantly seek and evaluate feedback from a diverse group of people.

Thoughts on living and working in Buffalo Niagara:
I love it here, and I am always deepening my roots. My biggest hope is that our community becomes one that celebrates difference and is more and more inclusive.
