Each year, BN360 highlights a select few individuals, nominated by member companies, within the Buffalo Niagara region who exemplify today’s definition of a young rising leader. Power Yoga Buffalo; Yogis in Service; November Project
Steve Procknal is a yoga teacher with Power Yoga Buffalo, featuring three studios in Western New York. He is also part of Yogis in Service, a team of yogis who teach, practice and share yoga throughout the area and the world. Steve also works with November Project™, a free fitness movement that encourages people of all ages to get out and get moving in various activities.
First Job Out of School
Promotions in Sydney, Australia
Steve is proud to have helped make Buffalo a November Project city (or tribe), including the area in a fitness movement that started in Boston and now has tribes around the world. He has worked with cancer survivors at Roswell Park Cancer Institute; developed yoga programs for veterans at the Buffalo VA; worked with NCAA Division I and professional athletes; and taught high school and college students yoga to help them deal with everyday stress. Steve has taught and led over 70,000 people over the past 4 years in yoga and health and wellness classes and events.

Be humble, be grateful, always be a student and never stop learning and growing. Double down on your strengths.
