Thoughts on Living and Working in Buffalo Niagara

“I’m in awe of the amount and types of manufacturing companies here in Buffalo. We have a lot of hidden gems and talented people producing amazing, life-changing products! It’s a tight-knit community and everyone knows everyone. Networking and relationships are the way to get things done! There are also so many opportunities to help and give back to the community.”

Greatest Hope for the Region

“When it comes to talent, I hope that the Buffalo business community continues to put the human element first when hiring and managing employees. We are a diverse community offering valuable past knowledge and experiences that need to be heard! There are many stigmas and assumptions made by both companies and candidates during the recruitment process that more open conversations help resolve. My goal is to continue to encourage and facilitate open conversations between employers and candidates and to bring people together to build relationships and ultimately fill job openings.”

On Being a BN360 Spotlight Professional

I am so excited to have been nominated and selected as a BN360 Spotlight Professional for 2019! There are so many young professionals currently doing great things for the region, so to be recognized is a great honor. I have been very involved with BN360 throughout 2018 and looked up to last year’s Spotlight Professionals, so to get a chance to make an impact on others like they had on me is so exciting!
