Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra INFORMance: A Classically Informal Concert Experience!

January 20, 2010, Buffalo, N.Y- The Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra along with the Buffalo Niagara Partnership’s young professional’s program, Buffalo Niagara 360 present a classically informal concert experience: BPO INFORMance, led by Joseph Young, League of American Orchestras Conducting Fellow on Thursday, February 11, 2010 from 5:30-7:30 pm in the Mary Seaton Room at Kleinhans Music Hall. Tickets for this event are only $10 in advance and $15 day of event.

Statement from Buffalo Niagara Partnership President/CEO Andrew J. Rudnick on Gov. David Paterson’s Proposed 2010-11 New York State Budget

“In our initial assessment of the governor’s 2010-11 budget proposal we are heartened by his attempt to control overall spending. However, given the state’s current and growing budget deficit, we’d much prefer to see the price tag for running New York State government go down. Anything but a reduction is too much.

Liazon Awarded Small Business of the Year

(BUFFALO, NY) – On May 6th at the SBA Small Business Week Awards Luncheon held downtown, the Buffalo Niagara Partnership presented local healthcare benefits company Liazon with the Small Business of the Year award. Since 1963, the President has proclaimed a National Small Business Week to recognize the contributions of small businesses to the economic well-being of the country. The local awards ceremony honored the area’s top small business owners and advocates of the year for 2009.
