On Buffalo Niagara

“Ever since I moved back to Buffalo in 2006, I have lived in the city and have never looked back. The energy in our WNY region is incredible. The people of Buffalo are just great, like they say we are the city of good neighbors and that is so true. Everyone has this “Buffalo sparkle” in their eye and it’s contagious. The support I have received from networking in this city and the relationships I have been fortunate to create are why I never want to leave Buffalo.”

 About Being an Athena Finalist

“This nomination means more than I can put in to words. For as long as I can remember I have admired the women nominated every year for this honor and looked forward to hearing who they were, learning about what they do and then challenging myself to be able to do more and give back more. To be considered for this honor among the women who have been named in this category is something I will always remember and be so proud of. This nomination has given me the incentive to work even harder, to do more, to give more and to never stop believing that I can achieve anything as a woman in my community. I am truly honored.”
