BN360 Spotlight Series: Work-Life Balance

Worklife balance is defined as a concept that includes the prioritization of “work” (career and ambition) and “lifestyle” (health, pleasure, leisure, family and spiritual development/meditation). Although it is a definition, I believe the interpretation of what balance is differs for each person. There is no perfect, one-size fits all, and the balance can vary over your lifetime as you move from an entry level position up through the ranks, as you grow in your personal life, or even move across the country. Personally when I think about work-life balance, it makes me wonder if this terminology was used as frequently 30 years ago as it is today.
