Q: What is your background in/what type of work were you in before the Partnership?

A: Prior to working at the Partnership, I was in show business! I was a Vice President for Marketplace Events and oversaw show managers who produced and managed home and garden shows in Suburban Washington D.C., Philadelphia, Birmingham and Buffalo. It was a fun business that allowed me to work all over North America.

Q: How did your past experience prepare you for your current role at the Partnership?

A: My experience has always been about helping businesses grow and prosper as well as connecting them to the right people and resources to make sure that happens.  My work in sales, sales management, marketing and business development have prepared me for my work at the Partnership.
When businesses grow, families prosper and communities thrive. It’s been great to work exclusively in Western New York for Western New York! This work is very rewarding!

Q: Tell us a little known fact about yourself:

A: I have had a lifelong interest in taking piano lessons and finally began them about a year ago!   It is never too late to learn an instrument.  In fact, my husband began drum lessons too and converted a storage area in our home to a music room. Empty nesters have all the fun!

Q: What do you like to do for fun?

A: Kayak at the Outer Harbor, Concerts at Artpark, Travel with my family, Home Décor and design, ride bikes and enjoy the sites in Erie and Niagara county.

Q: Best Buffalo Hidden Gem:

A: As a fan of the garden walk in Buffalo, it has been great to discover amazing gardens in people’s front and back yards!  There are fabulous creations that are worth exploring. This is a “must experience ” event every summer for me.

Q: What is your favorite part about living in Buffalo?

A: One will never run out of interesting things to see and do in Buffalo.  Every weekend is an adventure!
