Members of Buffalo Niagara Partnership’s Manufacturers Council were treated to a great tour hosted by council member Dynabrade, a manufacturer of portable abrasive power tools and related accessories used in industrial and automotive markets.
Hardy Hamann, Dynabrade’s president, welcomed 35 attendees to Dynabrade’s recently expanded facility in Clarence, NY. The tour included visits to Dynabrade’s engineering, sales, marketing, research and design, and manufacturing departments. Council members even had the opportunity to try Dynabrade products which are used for grinding, deburring, filing, sanding and polishing applications on materials such as metal, wood, plastic, glass, rubber, stone and composites.
Founded in 1969, Dynabrade features more than 800 high-quality tools in its product line, supplied to customers through a worldwide network of professional distributors. The company’s Dynabrade International division in Clarence shares global sales responsibilities with Dynabrade Europe in Luxembourg. Dynabrade also has subsidiary offices in Brazil, India and Australia.
Peter Kline of Bond, Schoeneck, & King law firm concluded the tour with a presentation on the benefits and value of the Partnership’s Manufacturers Council for Buffalo Niagara.
The Buffalo Niagara Partnership Manufacturers Council holds several tours per year to show members both the operations and facilities of other Partnership members in the manufacturing sector. Tours offer an opportunity for members to network and learn about innovations happening on manufacturing floors right here in Western New York.
