Director of VolunteerWNY
The Service Collaborative of WNY, Inc.
Adam Bartoszek is the Director of VolunteerWNY, a free resource to connect volunteers with volunteer opportunities across the Buffalo Niagara region. He is responsible for program development, implementation, and execution of strategic objectives set by the Volunteer Generation Fund New York State Initiatives. VolunteerWNY is a collaboration between the Service Collaborative of WNY and United Way of Buffalo & Erie County.
First Job Out of School
Nearing the end of his graduate studies, Adam served as an ABLE member (AmeriCorps Builds Lives Through Education) at The Service Collaborative of WNY which led to his role at VolunteerWNY in 2017.
Adam notes that the best part of his career so far has been developing a volunteer infrastructure to build capacity for nonprofits, faith-based, and educational institutions and mobilize thousands to address critical needs throughout the region.
