The Buffalo Niagara Partnership, in collaboration with KPMG, is soliciting applications for the Innovate 2011 awards. The awards are designed to showcase best practices as well as highlight outstanding results. New to this year’s event are three additional categories and a new application form making it easier to nominate! Remember, you can nominate your company or an outstanding, innovative client.
Nominations are sought in the following award categories:
Target sector awards (5): Advanced Manufacturing including renewable energy, Life Sciences, Agri-Business, Logistics, and Professional Services
These awards are given to the outstanding innovative company in each of the region’s target industry sectors. This category includes a written nomination form as well as site visits to selected finalists in each category.
Entrepreneur award (1)
This award recognizes innovative new businesses established for no more than 5 years.
Leadership Award (1)
This award recognizes outstanding leaders in the public or private sector who are advancing innovation/sustainability in the community.
Collaboration award (1)
This award recognizes significant partnerships formed to support innovation and/or sustainability and the results achieved by working together. Includes public-private partnerships, private-education partnerships and regionalism/cross border collaborations, etc.
