FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

BWI Health Promotions Recognized by Buffalo Niagara Partnership at Annual SBA Awards

BUFFALO, N.Y. – The Buffalo Niagara Partnership recognized BWI Health Promotions as an outstanding small business at the annual 6th annual Small Business Matchmaker, Awards Luncheon & Expo held on May 11th at the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center. The awards are presented by the regional office of the Small Business Administration.

“As a member of the Buffalo Niagara Partnership’s Professional Services target industry sector, BWI sets an example for other professional services businesses by offering innovative ways to lead in the market. The company’s online training programs, for example, show a true customer service focus by allowing individuals looking to enhance their personal knowledge in the field of health promotion to do so in an online setting,” said Lisa Roy, Senior Director at the Buffalo Niagara Partnership.

Roy also believes that while BWI is small, the company is poised for considerable growth because of the company’s leadership team. “Shawna Dosser's leadership and passion for her business are second to none.

And, her passion translates to a positive outcome for local employers in that they are focusing on employee health and wellness, which leads to lower absenteeism and higher productivity in workers. These factors combine to help all regional businesses grow and thrive,” Roy said. “We all win when Shawna and her team excel.”
