Transportation Council
Transportation Council The Transportation Council works to identify, address and advocate for local, state and federal transportation and infrastructure decisions that impact the region, and provides a forum for vetting regional transportation and infrastructure issues.

Council Information Meetings: | Initiatives: | Upcoming Events: | July 14 | * Educate the New York State legislature and administration on the historic lack of commitment of state dollars to transportation funding and its negative impact on the state’s vital infrastructure.
* Secure a fair portion of the federal and state transportation funds for the Buffalo Niagara Region.
* Promote the use of innovative finance methods to maximize the number of projects commenced in the current fiscal year.
* Further the strategic partnership between the Buffalo Niagara Partnership and the Greater Buffalo Niagara Regional Transportation Council (GBNRTC) by increasing involvement in GBNRTC activities.
